My Holiday at Lloran

I went to Lloran in January 2000 ... and stayed in a cottage belonging to Brooke and Tony Maurice.  This place is amazing ... you could have a complete holiday on the premises, if you wanted, and it's a great place for the human pack to relax too.

There are beautifully mown grassy slopes just perfect for rolling on and for chasing balls.

There are meadows (see below) for frolicking in, for feeling the breeze in, for rolling in ... and with so many new sniffs!

There are wild feral rabbits to chase ... even if your chances of catching them are buckleys and none ... but the poultry is sacred!

There's a tennis court where humans can play a silly game which seems to have the prime objective of depriving an honest dog of his ball.

Feeling the breeze ...

This is a really silly game where they try to stop me getting my ball back.  As you can see, I changed sides as much as expedient and won the battle quite a bit!

Now It's All Mine

The hosts tell me there's a stream nearby which is great for swimming and sniffs.  I'll have to try that out next time although my pack-people said something about coming back in Winter.  Apparently it snows in the Southern Highlands - whatever that may be ...

In Robertson, itself, there are several shops.  There's a supermarket and 'Pizzas in the Mist' and a pub which are important because Lloran is self-catering.  There are antique and craft shops and, my favourites, the Cheese Shop and the Ice Cream Shop.
