| Faithful Family Friends features embroidered
pictures of the Golden Retrievers we have owned over the
years. I won Casey, the first of our Goldens, on a
television quiz program. Aiming at furniture, I couldn't
resist the puppy. Ever since then we have had a Golden
Retriever in the family currently Sandy is our pride and
joy. Lady, our first dog, was a Longhaired Dachshund. She
decorates the label on the back of the quilt. The large
diamonds are quilted with outline pictures of Suzie and
Sandy. The dogs were drawn and computer digitized
for machine quilting by my husband George. I designed and
made the quilt around the dog embroideries. Close up
