Numerology deals with the consequenc of One becoming Dual and shows the natural progression to fulfilment.

NU1.1 - The primary divisions of Ten
The ten Consequences

My first introduction to numerology was through the keywords of 1 to 10.


  1. Individuality.
  2. Personality.
  3. Self expression.
  4. Reason.
  5. Versatility.
  6. Harmony .
  7. Inspiration.
  8. Destiny.
  9. Wisdom.
  10. Fulfilment.
    After some examination I found that the series consists of an arrangement very similar to the 2 x10 divisions of the Taro Major Arcana.
    and also has two groups of four similar to the alchemic sequence of Fire, Air, Water and Earth or Spirit, Mind, Soul and Body
    with the number 5 Versatility (Self or Central Consiousness) in between and 10 Fulfilment or the one (1) and all (0) on the end.

  • The first group of four (1.2.3.4.) deals with our material identity.

  • 5 - Represents our potential and is the connection between our physical and spiritual being.
    The Fifth Alchemical Element Privy Quintessence (private fifth essence)

  • The second group of four (6.7.8.9.) deals with our emotional and spiritual growth.

  • 10 - Is the return to unity (1) with the knowledge of the full circle and our spiritual identity or "non & all " (0).


The progression of the individual numbers thus show the road
of the Evolution to Fulfilment.

NU1.2 - Alchemic. Two fold duality
In order to get a better understanding of Numerology.
I have compared various philosophies which use consequential or progressive sequences.

Within these sequences, I found a repeating use of the double duality resembling the symbolism of the alchemic elements;
Fire / water & air /earth.

Fire & air non material
Water & earth. material

Fire representing the life force and spirit.
Air* is the Intellect of nature and man kind.
Water stands for the emotions and feelings .
Earth gives the environment and challenges.

Air* In Chinees Alchemy is represented by Metal = Human Intellect and Wood = Natures Intellect.

The Tao illustrates the Two fold duality with the well known symbol of 'Yin & Yang'.

  • Cosmos is represented by zero as a concept or idea from the ever existing MIND even before manifestation.

  • Ego or Soul as five is the mediator or central power between the two groups ( As illustrated below)
