Ceremonies and Services
As a registered civil marriage celebrant, I conduct Weddings, Renewal of Marriage Vows, Naming Ceremonies, Funeral Services and Commitment Ceremonies.
All of the Ceremonies that I conduct are celebrations of significant events in people's lives, and I believe that my role is to help to co-ordinate a celebration of these important occasions.
I take professional pride in my work and ensure that all of the ceremonies that I conduct take into account your beliefs, personality and the things you consider important in a warm, happy and dignified way.
Renewal of Marriage Vows and Re-Affirmation Ceremonies
This ceremony is for couples wishing to renew their wedding day experience or perhaps celebrate a very special wedding anniversary. Sometimes when a couple has been married interstate or overseas and family and friends were unable to attend, a renewal of vows can be a way of including those who were absent.
Commitment Ceremonies
A commitment ceremony is similar to a wedding ceremony, however, rather than a legally binding ceremony it is a public affirmation of a couple’s commitment to one another. These ceremonies can be conducted for same-gender couples or for anyone who does not wish to or is unable to include the legal component of a marriage.
Naming Ceremonies
Name Giving Days are special occasions when families celebrate the birth of a new baby and the child is formally and ceremonially welcomed into the family and introduced into the wider circle of family friends.
Funeral Services
The death of someone close to you is a most traumatic and disruptive time in the life of any family. Funerals and memorial services enable us to share our memories and celebrate the lives of those we have loved and who have loved us. I am experienced in conducting Funeral Services and I’m always available to people who need my help in these circumstances.
Pet Funerals
Losing a pet is difficult and traumatic for many people. Our pets love us unconditionally, listen to us when we want to talk and bring us so much joy. Planning and participating in a funeral or memorial service for your beloved pet is a fitting way to say goodbye to a special companion animal. It enables everyone to reflect on and acknowledge the important role the animal played in their lives.
