About Me I was appointed by the Commonwealth Attorney General in December, 1994 and since my appointment I have conducted many wedding ceremonies as well as Naming Ceremonies, Renewal of Vows, Commitment Ceremonies and Funeral Services. I am very professional and take pride in my role in this crucial part of people’s lives. I’m a trained teacher and a Justice of the Peace, and I also hold postgraduate qualifications in psychology. I am a Life Member and a Fellow Member of the Association of Civil Marriage Celebrants of NSW & ACT Inc., and have held the position of Association Secretary for a number of years. I also write and edit the Association’s Newsletter. I hold a Certificate IV in Marriage Celebrancy and a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training. I am involved in the training of aspiring celebrants and have written a comprehensive Training Manual. I firmly believe that a couples’ wedding day should be a memorable, magical and wonderful occasion that a couple will fondly remember with warmth and happiness. I try very hard to help them achieve this experience. I have comprehensive and thorough knowledge in guiding my couples through the essential legal requirements.
