Jean Spokes (my artist friend) and I have held live-in workshops yearly at StroudJean Spokes Monastery, 75 kms north east of Newcastle. The Sisters of St. Clare constructed their mud brick monastery in 1980. Now a convention centre, it is a lovely venue where like minded people can go to focus and enjoy the peaceful and picturesque environment.  

In the bushFor a full week you can enjoy gourmet meals, accommodation and tuition in various media by both of us. As we only take 10 students, it is an intimate and fun experience for both students and teachers. Long time friendships are forged and we get many students who come back again and again.
