Henry was born at Hull but all the other children were born at Ontario, Canada. The family appears on the same 1861 census page as John's brother Walker and his family, so they
were clearly neighbours. Did John and Ann emigrate with Walker and Elizabeth (around 1844), or did they make their separate ways?
Interestingly, John and Ann were both buried at the Thornton-Providence Cemetery, Sykeston, Lambton County, Ontario.
