Nathaniel Williams QUICK / Susannah SANDOW
Nathaniel and Susannah were both born at St. Ives, Cornwall, where they married in 1828.

In Cornwall Nathaniel was a stone mason - after arriving in Victoria he began farming at Dean, near Ballarat.

Susan and James married at St Ives in 1850. They emigrated to Australia on the 'Apolline'
in 1854.
After emigrating on the 'Euphemus' in 1853, William returned to England on the 'Red Jacket' in 1856.
He and Mary married in St Ives in 1857 and returned to Australia on the 'Dragoon' later that year.
Robert and Ann married in 1860.
John emigrated to Australia on the 'Euphemus' with the rest of his family in 1853.
Possible marriage entries in
the Victorian BMD registry
are shown opposite.
(Mary Devlin maybe less likely,
given John's age in 1856)
Another possibility is that (like his brother William) John returned to England to marry. A John Quick did marry Phillipa Uren at St Ives in 1860, and they emigrated
to Australia on the 'Commodore Perry' later that year. However, no records have been found for John's Victoria to England trip.
The death of a John Quick was registered at Bendigo in 1921 - aged 84. Could this be our John ??
Charlotte and Nicholas married in 1856.
Richard and Catherine married in 1871.
