Her father Edwin was born at Naracoorte and her mother was born at Dalkey, SA. Both died at Hopetoun.
William/Elizabeth VIVIAN first settled near Mt Gambier upon arrival in Australia. Though his death was registered in Adelaide, William was then living at Lamaroo. Elizabeth died at Diapur.
Both John POULTON and Dorothea DOHSE emigrated to S.A. as children. The Poultons ran a farm at Owen - Claus Dohse was a carpenter at Adelaide.
John and Dorothea married at Nth Adelaide, then moved to Victoria where they had a farm at Cambacanya, north of Rainbow. They both died at Hopetoun.
Thomas/Ann POULTON died at Bowden (Nth Adelaide). The brickworks set up by their son William was at nearby Brompton.
Claus/Louisa DOHSE died at Prospect (Adelaide).

Thomas VIVIAN was born at Manaccan, and Mary JOHNS at Ruan Minor. They married at St.Keverne.
Joseph COOKE was born in Mawgan in Meneage and Elizabeth HILL in Landewednack - they married at St. Martins.
All these villages are on what is known as the Meneage Peninsula.

John POULTON was born at nearby Dursley.
Claus Heinrich DOHSE was born at Bornhöved and
Louisa HEIN in
Preetz, both towns being in the state of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.
They married in Hamburg, the port from which they sailed to Australia on the 'Louise' in 1850.
