Thomas Day/Elizabeth Frewin are likely parents to Thomas, given the timeframe for their marriage and that no other records for the birth of a Thomas Day, ca 1804, could be found at Pyrton. Also, their choice of 'biblical' names for their children seems to link the families.

Thomas Collins/Sarah Viner were parents to a James Collins baptised at Burford in 1766. However, given the distance between Burford and Watlington, where 'our' James married Ann Hambleton, this link is only a possibility.

Except for John, all their children were born in Pyrton - John was baptised in nearby Stonor.
Hannah's baptism record gives her parents as Thomas & Mary. However, no other children seem to have been born to a Thomas & Mary Day at Pyrton around that time. Maybe a mistake had been made in recording Hannah's mother's name? Note also that in the 1841 census, Thomas & Clementina's daughter Prudence was living with a Hannah Day, aged 50 - seems more likely that Prudence, a 6 year old, would be staying with an aunt rather than a more distant relative.

Ann was born in Watlington where she and James married.
All their children were born in the parish of Shirburn.
