The Mojos' sound is now 'roundly-eclectic'.... Kaz Dalla Rosa's work on her Larry Adler 16-hole harmonica is intergral to feel of their music. Kaz, a Hohner endorsee, is pretty slick at playing scorching riffs or doubling the bassline to fortify the Mojo sound, via an old Goldentone Bassmaster amp. The rolling backbeat is supplied by Paula Dowse, who digs playing Latin grooves. "I love snaredrum rhythms and Latin beats, for that New Orleans sound,"says Paula. The keyboard work is sensitively executed and provides a bonding framework for the songs. Gina Woods tinkles the ivory on a Kurzweil 88-key electric piano as well as handling the piano accordian. Lead singer Fiona's choice axe is a '68 Custom Telecaster, through a late seventies Music Man amp.
