  Set A Date

  Treats Me Fine

"the music on this album is a mixture of influences. from the bluesy jimmy reed styled 'someone else is steppin' in', the cajun flavoured 'mon cherie' and 'now that it's over'"

"the mojos should be proud to be associated with the music on 'mumbo gumbo'"

billy pinell (radio programmer/presenter)

"They're Australian and they're women (save for the bass player). Preconceptions aside, the Mojos are a real find, playing the blues on Mumbo Gumbo with subtlety and savvy. The sound leans towards swamp, but covers of 'Baby Please Set a Date' and 'All Your Love(I Miss Loving)' (its guitar parts recalling Hubert Sumlin rather than Otic Rush) broaden the scope, as does the Gypsy-flavored 'In the Moonlight'."
