This project makes it safe and easy to switch any 240V AC appliance e.g. lights, power tool, pump,
air conditioner etc rated up to 10A on and off from a low voltage switch or electronic project.
The possibilities are only limited by your imagination.
The box contains a heavy-duty relay to control the load, and a small power supply for its coil.
When your low-voltage switch, relay or transistor connects the control terminals
together,
the
box supplies 240V to the load plugged into its outlet. It's that simple!
It was catalog number K 3041 at Dick Smith Electronics stores. It's no longer on the DSE website.
