Boat House combines the informal charm of a stylish beach house with the elegant furnishings and luxury inclusions of gracious living. Relax in the indoor pool, marvel at the views from the rooftop jacuzzi, play billiards with pretty Dangar Island as a backdrop, or soak up the sun overlooking a terraced profusion of palms, ferns and statuary, and the therapeutic cascade of fish ponds and fountains.

If you fear that too much relaxation could be habit forming, there are a number of combination walking and boating excursions of varying degrees of difficulty to appealing destinations such as Dangar Island or Little Patonga Beach. Another popular option is to take a boat trip to one of the excellent restaurants that enjoy spectacular settings on the river.

Six beautifully-appointed rooms each have private courtyards, decks or panoramic river views. Every room has a welcoming queen-size bed and a two-person spa. Boat House has a lavishly-equipped kitchen which, on request, can be stocked with breakfast ingredients and pre-prepared (heat and eat) gourmet meals. A banquet of fresh local seafood can be delivered by boat.

Boat House is perfect in winter with streaming sunshine by day and a cosy fire at night; perfect in summer with cooling breezes and wide, shady verandahs. By Car
Follow Pacific Highway or Pennant Hills Road to the North Coast Freeway. At the Hawkesbury River, take the Brooklyn exit. Follow signs to Brooklyn (4 km). At the T-intersection, near the train station, turn left. Proceed through Hawkesbury River Marina to water taxi or ferry departure.

By Train
Take the train to Hawkesbury River Station, walk over the footbridge to Hawkesbury River Marina (about 100 m).
