PONTOON MARINA
BB2
PHOTOS
Our three photographs show the following:
Top Photo = BB2 on a swing mooring.
Middle Photo = could be any of the models on a swing mooring.
Bottom Photo = BB2 stationed in a Pontoon Marina.
It can be seen that only two ties are required to hold the Bath in position,
one left side or one right side and one on the front.
It is impossible for any part of the Bath to encroach
into the neighbouring marina pen.
PRIVATE MARINA
Boatbath BB4 is designed for the rear end of the Bath to submerge
or lower into the water for exit and entrance of the craft.
A small hand winch that would be fixed to the
marina platform operates this procedure.
CHLORINE
On an eight-meter yacht, half a cup of chlorine would be
required to be poured into the Bath water each time the
craft returned to its mooring station.
An initial reaction to placing chlorine into our waterways may
raise an initial mental alarm. However, upon further consideration
it is realised that just as with placing chlorine in our family
swimming pool, where the problem there is evaporation of the
chlorine components to the atmosphere, when used for marine
growth inhibition, this becomes somewhat of a benefit.
After a short period the only residual of the chlorine is salt.
In truth, the toxic affects from anti-fouling paint is much
more harmful, particularly where there are a number of
boats stationed to together, such as within a marina complex.
