Workshops

Workshops have run since early 2004 and have been a wonderful experience to share
all that I have learnt over the last six years.

Exploring the world of making mosaics is a delightful way to experience creativity with the colour, shape
and touch of glass and doing this with a friendly group in lovely surroundings, it becomes a world away from the tensions,
stress that can be everyday life.

What you can create

House numbers, table tops, garden ornaments, planters, birdbaths, pet bowls, trivets, mirrors, flower pots, wall murals and platters.
You can even revamp those old pots or vases. See the student gallery for samples of the great pieces created in the workshops.

When and how
Workshops run weekdays for 3 hours with always time for a coffee and chat with a maximum of six people in each workshop. I provide the tools and prepare substrate(when required). Materials are costed based on your project and are an additional cost to workshop fees.

Courses star January 29 2009 and are broken up into blocks of 7 to 10 weeks. See my calender detailed below.
Payment for each block and dates are marked on the calendar below with payment possible by direct deposit or cash. 
Payment in full is expected one week before commencement of each block.

Where you might need to miss a workshop a makeup class will be run when possible.

What you need to bring or know
For safety reasons, closed in shoes must be worn at all times.  Eye protection goggles are available for use during workshop time.  Please come comfortably and casually dressed however I do provide apron.
