Married!

On June 2 2001 at 3:00pm Cait and I got married!!

Engaged!

At 9:30pm on Friday 1 October 1999 I proposed to my darling Cait and she accepted.

WHOOHOO!!!!

I met Cait under the clocks at Flinders Street Station in Melbourne on April 1 1999 (Yes, that's right,  April Fools Day).  It was more or less a blind date, we'd chatted a few times on ICQ and once or twice on the phone, but that was all.

We hit it off really well on the first night, but didn't expect more than friendship.

On her way to work on Monday morning (April 5th) Cait crashed her car.  She felt compelled to let me know after she had settled down.  When she called I had just gone into the cinema and had turned off my phone. When I got out of the cinema I checked my messages, to find that Cait had crashed her car.

I was surprised at the strong feelings that I had for her, and I called her as soon as I could to make sure she was OK.  We chatted again on the phone and ICQ during the week and arranged that Cait would stay at my place for a couple of nights 2 weeks later, but we couldn't wait that long and I ended up going to Bendigo the following weekend.

Things have just got better and better from then on.  There has only been one weekend that we spent apart since we met.  That was the longest weekend (and 2 weeks) of my life.
