But as for yourselves, dearest and closest, being forewarned, maintain proper vigilance, lest by some lawless mistake you allow yourselves to be led astray and thus stumble because you have lost your own stability.
But grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Rescuer, Jesus Christ.
To Him be all the kudos both now and for any day henceforth and forever.

Watch where you put your feet. Don't lose your stability.
Look at what God, in your rescuer, Jesus Christ, has given you. Embrace that.

Experience His strength to hold you on course.

This is all about Jesus Christ and the entire creation's recognition of His work.
This is all about the Lord Almighty, who deserves all the status and all the plaudits, status and plaudits in which you share, and which are His showered upon you in grace and favour.
The truth is that both now and for any day, henceforth and forever, it is granted you to share in His life, His standing which He has won for you before God.
It is in that glorious that those who believe, with Peter, in Christ Jesus, are called to live.
