Located
in one of Newcastle’s historic suburbs, Gray’s Cottage offers friendly and
comfortable bed & breakfast accommodation for discerning travelers. We
invite you to share our home during your stay, whether it be overnight or a
longer visit. The
house is federation style (we can give you its complete history from
construction to the present day). You might indulge in an alfresco breakfast
on the deck, watching the many native birds that visit us. Enjoy
our ensuite guestroom, and relax in our guest lounge where you will find tea
& coffee, TV, games and books. Our garden provides a special retreat,
with inground pool and BBQ for your enjoyment. We are
conveniently located just off the Pacific Highway, about 2 hours’ drive from
Sydney; and close to both local airports and Newcastle Port on the Hunter
River. Afternoon
tea or a light snack upon your arrival, and a delicious gourmet breakfast is
included in the charge. Smoking is permitted outdoors. The property is
