Introducing the new Bakkabyond Babies!
Rave ~ Bakkabyond Marcova Angel
Rave is a happy, outgoing, playful little girl with a gentle but very cheeky nature. She reminds me so much of her Grandma Pip in her temperament and mannerisms. Some of the things she does are just "so Pip" like playing soccer and hiding the ball beneath her body so that I can't get it, tapping me with her paw for attention, sleeping in Pip's favourite places, the very gentleness of her soul and her love of learning.
Rave will be destined for both the obedience ring and the conformation ring when she is older. She has beautiful bone throughout and good markings. She is a heavy bitch and has been consistent in her growth pattern since birth.
Rave was named after her Grandma Pip (Zeigen Raven Beauty). It always troubled me that Pip never lived long enough to meet her grandchildren - she died three days short of their birth. As Rave is so much like her, it seemed only fitting, a way to carry Pip's memory forward with the next generation. Rave lives here with us at Bakkabyond and is a very welcome addition to our family.
Eddie ~ Bakkabyond Edge o Reason
Eddie is a magical little girl who brings with her fun and laughter and cheeky gentleness of spirit. She is our resident ratbag, our cute cuddle monster and our shark teeth on legs.Initially I was a bit worried about her because she was so much smaller than the others but after having her thoroughly vet checked, our fears were put to rest. She has never let her size slow her down and she was often the first to do things: open her eyes, hear, interact, walk, run and bark. She is a pocket rocket and we love her dearly.
Eddie is a fine boned, small bodied girl with gorgeous facial markings and beautiful dark eyes. As she gets older she will be destined for the obedience ring and perhaps try her paw at agility. For now though, she is a much loved family pet and she will always have a home here at Bakkabyond.
Izzie ~ Bakkabyond Remarcaboo
Izzie is large boned, cheeky, fun loving, outgoing, playful clown. She has beautiful white markings and a thick, heavy coat. If it weren't for the coat, she could be a Boo reincarnate! It was for this reason that she was chosen by her new owner (and Boo's Mum), Erin. Izzie has a confident manner about her and knows what she wants. She will be destined for the obedience and conformation rings when she is older but until then, I have no doubt she will reek terror on her new housemates - two cats who thankfully have lived with Boo long enough to enjoy boisterous dogplay!
Sully ~ Bakkabyond Worka Art
Sully is a simply stunning little man who makes you melt with those gorgeous big brown eyes of his. He has a soft and loving nature, is a total cuddle monster and exhibits a playful gentle spirit. He has large bone, classic white markings and has had a consistent growth pattern since birth. Sully lives with his aunty Smurf (from my first litter) and will become a companion and playmate for Terry and Sue's young granddaughter who visits often.
Sully will be destined for the show ring at some stage in the future but until then will enjoy being spoilt rotten by his new family. Thank you to Terry and Sue for looking after our special little man and allowing us the opportunity to watch him grow and to continute to be a part of his life.
Wilson ~ Bakkabyond Marco Respect
Wilson is another stunning little boy with large bone and a thick, heavy coat. Right from birth Wilson caught my eye as one to watch. He has a very cheeky nature, is playful and outgoing and loves to curl up in your lap for a sleep. Wilson now lives with his new family in Melbourne and is a constant companion and playmate for the two resident children, the Retriever who likes to visit from next door and Roxy, the very old resident Lady (Rottweiler) of the house. Wilson will not be shown in conformation but we will continue to keep an eye on this boy as he shows a lot of promise. Thanks to Wendy and Andrew for allowing us this opportunity.
The last two puppies, Milli (nee Roz) and Squirt are now living in their new forever homes with their new families who love them dearly. Both of these babies will be kept as companions and may see some obedience and / or agility ring action later on.
Milli ~ Bakkabyond Bella ze Ball
Milli lives here in Alice Springs with Casey and Andrew and will be treated to trips and adventures out bush once she is older. She has average bone, gorgeous markings and a heavy, thick coat. She is cheeky, outgoing and playful and quite the cuddle bunny when the mood strikes.
Squirt ~ Bakkabyond Midnite Tryst
Squirt now lives in Darwin with Kylie and Gus and has been blessed with his own five slaves .. er .. children to fetch and carry for him. He has a very cheeky, outgoing, playful nature and the most gorgeous face you ever did see. He was nick named our runway model because he was so stunning to look at. Squirt is a strong, large boned boy with a thick and heavy coat, and a compact body.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for opening their homes and their hearts up to these wonderful precious little bundles and for allowing us to continue to watch them grow and be involved in their lives. I wish you well as you move forward together through the years and enjoy many adventures. May they all have long, happy and healthy lives and share with you love, loyalty and companionship.
Thank you also to Ros Catt and Maxcine Dixon - without you two wonderful ladies, there would be no litter. To Marco's owners, Kevin and Jenny, who were so very patient and understanding throughout the mating process. And to Marco (Ch Alpenhund Marco Pollo) who was a complete and utter gentleman and a joy to work with. If these puppies turn out half as well as their Dad, then it will all have been worth it. And with the way they are going so far, I think we're on the right track!
