Our aim is to strive for excellence .. to breed for the purpose of bettering the breed. Our goal is to breed companion dogs which are sound of both mind and body, and that can easily fit into any situation whilst maintaining the original purpose and type of the breed. 

 

Careful consideration goes into the researching and breeding of each litter. We do not believe in making compromises when it comes to temperament, health and structural soundness. All of our dogs are hip and elbow scored, DNA tested and have been involved in both obedience training and conformation showing. 

All of our dogs are considered much loved family members and are allowed to roam freely within our home and property. Puppies are raised with a very hands on approach and are well socialised with both people and other animals.  

 

All Bakkabyond puppies are sold on a non-breeding agreement, are registered on the ANKC limited register, are wormed and vaccinated and come with a puppy pack which includes care and feeding guides, photos, parents information, a copy of the breed standard, a copy of their pedigree, plus their vaccination booklet. 

 

We require all companion puppies to be desexed prior to 18 months old and all puppies to be hip and elbow scored prior to 2 years of age. We offer life-time support to each of our puppy's families.  

 

Every one of our puppies is special and their wellbeing is very important to us. To this end we do vet our prospective puppy homes carefully to ensure that we are providing the best possible homes and meeting the needs of both the puppy and the new owners. We also request that new owners keep us informed of how you're going .. this allows us some insight as to the progress of the puppy, allows us to help with any issues that may arise and provides us with valuable information for future breeding decisions.
