Clan Hunter Association - Scotland
  The Clan Hunter Association was formed in 1970, at Hunterston Castle in Scotland,
  to bring together the many branches of Hunter family settled throughout the world.
  The Association aims to satisfy a rising interest in the origin of the Hunter family,
  and to provide a medium for social contact.

  Clan Hunter is privileged to have the original family castle, Hunterston Castle in
  Ayrshire, Scotland. The Clan castle remains in an excellent state of preservation.
  The Clan lands have been in the possession of the Hunters of Hunterston since
  the year 1110. An extensive collection of family papers exists, with the oldest
  historic document dating to 1374.                                 more information..........

   The Clan Hunter Association in Australia was formed in September 1984 with
   the appointment of Albert SJ Hunter as Clan Officer, by the then Clan Chief

Membership of the Clan Hunter Association is available to persons, or descendants
of persons, of the name HUNTER.  Join the Association and receive your very own
Clan Membership Certificate. Members receive valuable information via the Clan
Newsletter. Become a member now and you will also receive a Clan Hunter booklet.
