Kiwi letter boxes  

On our recent trip to the South Island of New Zealand we came across those letterboxes. Letterboxes are a personal thing. They often reflect the personality or the occupation of their owners. This is why I think letterboxes are so special.

Left: A lot of letter boxes were painted
Right: This is the only dog letter box I have found anywhere

Left: Don't know what to make of this one. Maybe the owner is a buttler
Right: This chicken letter box was only a short distance from the buttler one

You have to guess yourself what this one is all about. All I could see was, that it was part of a tree trunk
