| The layout is primarily designed as a switching layout with shallow scenes and the track close to the front edge of the layout. Now that I'm getting to do the scenery I find it a bit of a challenge to give visual depth to the scenes. I will eventually have to paint the backdrop, but for now I just take photos and add the sky and background using Photoshop. The following images was just a quick trial but I think this is not a bad way of figuring out what the backdrop should look like before using real paint. |
