It's an All-Aussie Adventure

No, not that silly tool Steve Irwin. This site is one of the most comprehensive web directories around. It's part search engine, part directory, and still maintains that 'homepage' feel which gives you the impression that it's owner, Pete Garriga, still takes an interest in every site he lists. The site is called Beyond... The Blackstump, and you can browse around for ages. I recommend you sign up for the daily email which tells you what new websites have been listed that day.

Tweak it, tweak it good

So, who likes to fiddle with their computer? I mean in a good way, folks! Well, I am one of those people who can't leave well enough alone, so tweaking the OS is perfect for me. And my favourite tweaking program for Windows (all flavours) is definitely XTeq X-Setup. It is the bomb! The mother of all tweaking programs, not just for Windows, but for heaps of other applications. If you are not totally comfortable messing with system settings etc, there are Wizards that step you through the process, and give you a chance to bail out if you change your mind. Wowzer...
