Putt Putt Putt

Well, in case you want something a bit less serious, check out Carpet Golf VR. It's a very cool mini-golf game you can play on your own computer. Now, who wouldn't enjoy that? It uses DirectX 7.0, and features some pretty funky 3D graphics. And the best part is that you can design your own courses, and challenge your friends to make a good score on your course. Just watch where you put that windmill...

It's an attack!

Did I forget to post an article yesterday? Nah, it must have got lost on the internet... Anyway, I love downloading software. Lots of software. And the best place to download software is WebAttack. They've got everything! I know I mentioned them before, but you can never get too much of a good thing.

Woody is the man

I haven't written much about some of the ezines that I subscribe to. One of the best ones would have to be Woody's Office Watch. Woody Leonhard is a Microsoft Office expert from way back. He knows the real story about Word, Outlook and all the other Office products. There are tips, tricks, bug reports, workarounds and all the other stuff you need to know so that Office doesn't make you go mad. It is definitely one to look forward to. Tell em I sent you!

How much is it?

I was surfing around some DVD websites today, trying to find the box set of Space Battleship Yamato, truly one of the coolest anime series ever. I needed to convert Japanese Yen to Aussie Dollars, so I could scare myself with how much money I might have to spend. Not to mention explaining it to my wife... Anyway, I found XE.com - the universal currency converter. It's pretty quick and simple, but that's what you want, eh? Now, all I need to do is find the money...

Slipstick, dipstick, whatever!

What's the connection, I hear you say? Well, not exactly hear it, but you know what I mean... Anyway, I use Outlook. Alot. It's one of the few things that Uncle Bill has done well. Not real well, but pretty well. And anyone who uses Microsoft Outlook needs to check out Slipstick. It's the Outlook and Exchange Solution Centre, and they aren't joking. Everything you need to know about Outlook, and lots of things you didn't.
