(If you have trouble with the links on this webpage please refer to the bottom of this page) Adelaide Hills Catholic Parish is situated just east of suburban Adelaide, which is the capital of the state of South Australia.
The hills rise quickly from the plains to a height of just some 650 metres to provide a beautiful environment of trees and grasses, home to many forms of wildlife, and from some vantage points, wonderful views of the city.
The Parish is made up of a number of towns, some close together, and the atmosphere could be described as one of village living.
The southern end of the Parish is bisected by the freeway, and most of the population is settled there.
As we go north, the towns are spread further apart & we get into farming country, including some famous horse studs. And the vineyards are gradually encroaching south from the neighbouring famous Barossa Valley.
