Fun Day & Carols Night

One of the major highlights of the year for the Adamstown Community is the Annual Fun Day and Carols by Candlelight Spectacular held in Henderson Park, Adamstown, Newcastle, NSW.

Attendances for the 2006 event held in mid-December came close to 1,000 people, with a further 300 attending the afternoon Fun Day.

In 2007, Fun Day attendance ran into the hundreds with more families and individuals coming for the Carols service.

Families and residents from the local area and beyond enjoyed a whole stack of fun including stalls, barbecue, tea, coffee & cold drinks, jumping castle, laughing clowns, fairy floss and stacks more!

The evening Carols by Candlelight 2007 started at 7pm complete with on-stage entertainment by the singers and musicians from Adamstown Community Church, a visit by Santa Claus, dance and song items by the children of Kids' Church. Rain hampered the programme and it had to be cut short, but it was still a great event!
