Adamstown Community Church has a long history of association with the local community. Established originally in 1908 as a small group of Christian believers, the work and growth of the church has been diverse over the ensuing decades.
Formally known as Adamstown Gospel Chapel, our church has a solid foundation on the Scriptures and a colourful history of lifestyle teaching and evangelism. Today's generation of Christians have much to be thankful for in terms of their roots, foundations and history.
Over the years, literally thousands of men, women, teenagers and children have attended the church. The influence of God continues to be seen in their lives and in their family in later years.
The church today is led by Pastor Mathew Jones and his wife Chris, together with a Pastoral Team of elders and their wives. They are responsible for the direction, planning, outreach, growth and teaching of the church.
A Board of Deacons cares for the physical, financial and property matters of the church and overseas leaders of various ministries within the church, in conjunction with the Pastoral Team.
Adamstown Community Church is a family-oriented church comprised of young and old from different walks of life.
