Not everyone needs or can afford a full recording session, so we offer this service as a cheaper alternative.

WHAT?

For $200inc gst you get to record your bands rehearsals in a studio setting rather than a rehearsal room.

INCLUDES

4 hour session

Your instruments miked up as usual for a normal recording session

Separate headphone mixes for each band member

mixed in realtime as you play on the studio desk by an experienced engineer , recorded direct to stereo.

take away your stereo mix files on USB/firewire drive (that you supply or available as an extra)

WHY?

much better quality recording than live desk tapes or rehearsal room recordings

hear yourself properly

hear what your band sounds like

hear what the other band members are playing

record your whole set, or the same song over and over till you get it.

DOSN’T INCLUDE

Unlike the normal Toyland studio service, this service does not include any multitracking, Overdubbing, Dropping in, Editing, Producing, Analog tape, Fixing, Sample Triggers/Click Tracks (unless you supply them)

You setup and play, we record it. what you play live is what you get.

EXTRAS

If you want your recording on CD, edited neatly and mastered with track markers, its $80p/h,  cd copies are free if you BYO, or $5 per cd.  Alternatively if we allow time within the 4 hour session there is no extra charge.
