PYTHON WORKSHOP
Objective
The object of
this workshop is to give attendees a basic grounding in the use and application
of the computer program PYTHON so that they can on completion of the workshop,
perform basic closed circuit hot and chilled water (including primary and
secondary pumping systems) and open circuit condenser water piping systems
analysis and thereby provide them with the skills to build on this with
subsequent practical experience with the program. The workshop is structured in such a way as to lead attendees
progressively through the input of the piping layout including the pipes and
various components (coils, pumps etc.), the entry of all of the parameters
associated with these items and the various design parameters and the
calculations. Attendees are also lead
through the results, including the pressure loss and heat loss, spreadsheets
and the pump sizing, and control valve selections learning the means by which
these can be reviewed and evaluated.
