CAMEL WORKSHOP

Objective

The object of this workshop is to give attendees a basic grounding in the use and application of the computer program CAMEL so that they can on completion of the workshop, perform basic building cooling and heating load estimations and associated cooling coil psychrometrics and thereby provide them with the skills to build on this with subsequent practical experience with the program.  The workshop is structured in such a way as to lead attendees progressively through the various aspects of modelling the building and it’s internal loads, modelling the Air Handling unit with it’s zones and rooms and entering details of additional plant such as chillers, boilers, fresh air preconditioners, heat exchangers etc. Attendees are also lead through the results, learning the means by which these can be reviewed, evaluated, collated and printed and how templates can be set up
