Plant Table

The "Plant Table" is a session in the meeting where the "Plant Table Host", Phil Keane, identifies and discusses the cut flowers brought in by members or guests. This is a useful way to help identify a plant you weren’t sure about, show off the successes of your garden, or just to listen and learn about the growing habit of particular plants, how easy they are to grow, and propagate, etc. Some of the flower stems can also provide useful cuttings for those wishing to propagate the plant.

About the Australian Plants Society

The aims and objectives of the Australian Plants Society are:

The Australian Plants Society NSW is organised into District Groups. Sutherland is one such group. APS changed its name from the Society for Growing Australian Plants (SGAP) in 1997 to reflect members' broad range of interests in Australian plants. The Australian Plants Society NSW is a member of the federal organisation Australian Native Plants Society (Australia), which was formerly known as ASGAP or the Association of Societies for Growing Australian Plants.
