Like many aspiring snapper anglers it has always been a dream of mine to win Tea Tree. In recent years that dream transformed into wanting to catch the biggest fish at Tea Tree and release it for the video camera. Well today that dream came true with this monster red taken in WP just after midnight. It bottomed out the scales and was clearly in excess of 10kgs - a new Melbounre based PB for myself. Warren Carter was onboard and filmed the fish and its weighing etc and he says it the biggest live snapper he has ever seen outside Whyalla, big words from such a snapper angler. Today the fish was offically recognised as the biggest fish the Tea tree ceremony and i was asked to take the stage and tell the tale of how this monster moment came to be. Let it be an example to all, and a turning point for meritorious Tea Tree's catch and release event....
