The Keys of the Kingdom in 2 Peter 1

The Keys of the Kingdom

The "Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven" that Jesus bequeathed to Peter are freely available to all, and they are laid out clearly for those with ears to hear in 2nd Peter Chapter 1.

2 Peter 1

5  But also in this very thing, bringing in all diligence, filling out (EPICHOREGEO) your faith IN virtue, and IN virtue, knowledge; 6 and IN knowledge self-control, and IN self-control, patience, and IN patience, godliness, 7  and IN godliness, brotherly kindness, and IN brotherly kindness, love. 8  For if these things are in you and abound, they make you to be neither idle nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9  For he in whom these things are not present is blind and cannot see afar off and has forgotten that he was purged from his sins in the past. 10  Therefore, brothers, rather be diligent to make your calling and election sure, for if you do these things, you shall never fall. 11  For so an entrance shall be ministered to you (EPICHOREGEO) abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
