A heck of a picture.

  Moving along.  Here are pictures I found via. Being keen on aviation from way back (and very fond of flying boats), I put them here to be appreciated.

  Boeing Clipper - A very popular transoceanic airliner of the 1930s and during WW2.

  B6M6 'Madge' - Maritime aircraft used by the Soviet Union during the Cold War.

  Short Sunderland - Easily the most famous flying boat of WW2.  Used for maritime patrol, ASW and transport in most theatres of war.  Operated by the RAF and most Commonwealth air forces (heck, the RNZAF retired the last of theirs in the sixties!).
