Off-Leash Dog Parks in the

City of Sydney and Surrounds

(My Goal in Life)

This page is the gateway to a whole new half of the site concerning itself with dog-friendly places.   If you've arrived here through a Search Engine, you may like to click the paw-print (top left on all the pages) to see my personal page (before or after you've visited the dog parks).  You can always get back to this half of the site by clicking on the doggy-do bin icon on the left there.  Need more site orientation ... check the Site Map

So without further ado ... AND READY TO PICK UP ANY POO ...

LET'S GO TO THE PARK - Click on the Dog Tidy Bin!

List of Parks By Region

The information in these pages comes directly from the councils concerned, however, it can only be considered current on the day it is written.  Always, always look for the signs in every park you visit.  If the rules have changed, these signs take precedence over anything written in this site.  If you do discover changes, please e-bark me immediately!  Where possible I include hyperlinks to Council Websites listing off-leash areas so you can print out their most up-to-date information.

I haven't yet had a chance to check out all the parks personally but I've started!  The links include, where known, a link to the Council's homepage so you can check it out for yourself.

I do like barking recommendations though - so do send them to me.  All dogs out there are welcome to send a short review on their favourite park and a photograph - you'll meet Tiga and Dotti in the North Shore Parks - they were the first to e-mail me a photo!  If you have a dog-site I'll link to it too!

Dogs have shared human lives for thousands of years.  With responsible ownership we share mutual love and respect.  In recognising the activities our dogs enjoy, their need to remain fit and healthy and to enjoy the companionship of their own species as well as ours, and in ensuring that they are properly trained and socialised as responsible canine citizens, both their lives and ours are enriched.
