MORE QUILTS

Top left is a painting of a bowl of paper poppies by my husband, George. I liked the painting so much that, inspired by it, I made a quilt "Fantasy Flowers" which is on the top right.

"Lemon, Lime and a Dash of Bitters" on the bottom left attempts to show transparency in a quilt If you don't think I succeeded, please don't bother to tell me.

"Wildflower" on the bottom right was made from a pattern by Myrna Allen given to me by Mary Ellen Hopkins on her first lecture tour in Australia. She kept using names of products and terms which were unfamiliar to Australians. As a Canadian, I was able to translate them to the familiar. I cut the block pattern down to about half size to make a wall hanging.
