Method: Soak mixed dried fruit in liqueur for at least an hour -- preferably overnight. Break chocolate into small pieces and melt in microwave on HIGH for 1 minute 45 seconds, or in heat-proof bowl over simmering water. Whip the cream -- not too much, you don't want to make butter. Stir in condensed milk and melted chocolate. Add mixed fruit, glace cherries, nuts and mixed spice. Stir thoroughly. Freeze in a two-litre container. Now for the hardest part: be patient.
