Downland Solitaire has been the basis for which Ascot Stud has been built.
Being the dam of multi Royal winning offspring, every progeny have excelled in the show ring without exception. Solitaire's progeny include:

Solitaire has been the dam of the last 4 Champion Youngstock Fillies & Supremes at our premier State Show - the Victorian Riding Pony Show - consecutively. A feat unmatched by a dam to date.

Solitaire's full brother, Downland Kruggerand, is now the resident Senior Sire at Downland Stud UK, replacing his world renowned sire, Downland Chevalier (Dec.).

She was ridden by a child when shown, and her rider was Catherine Hughes. Catherine was also the rider of our Royal Champion, Ascot Lisa Marie.
